>Everyone has to make a copy of some document every now and then! But almost no
one keeps a Xero >copier in their home.

I use my fax machine to make my copies since I can afford a fax machine and
Xerox is over my budget. Fax machines and cell phones are two technologies that
have transformed small business operations, even more than the computer. I
think that about 15% of American homes do not have a telephone today so there
are some that will never have the purchase power for technology.

While I do see RP in homes (maybe not every home) I do see home systems. Every
person is a tinkerer and we all would love to test our ideas in a non
threatening manner. My husband is retired and loves to design improvements to
things around the house from fence post brackets to metal widgets for his
tractor. He would love a machine where he could built a part and test his
ideas. I would make rings, earrings and all kinds of antique items that I find
at flea markets. I would love to build a bust of the old man and woman who's
picture was my latest find. They are so prim and proper staring out of that
picture at me. I collect old post cards and photographs so I would move my
collection not only to 3d but VR and give life to ancestors and adopted
"relatives". While I may collect the past I reach for the future!
