RE: Aspect ratios for holes in SLA

If memory serves me.... .06 inch diameter X roughly 10 inches long multi-curved passages out of SL5180. We used a standard multi-strand wire with plastic insulation (can't remember the gauge) to push the resin thru and cleaned up with a syringe and alcohol. I experimented with one of DSM's faster resins but found that it tended to gel in the passages and wouldn't clear. For nearly straight passages, you could probably go down to diamater .01 - .02 since you can clear with piano wire or drill bit. Any smaller and it may gel across due to residual chemicals from the too-near reaction.

Disclaimer: Engineer and out the other!
