Hi Ray,

We have received such error messages as "Problem to build discretization". and
by inputting the following sag and maximum triangle values you should be able to
avoid these problems in the future. I believe it's a problem with the accuracy
of the surface you wish to create but I could be wrong. We are currently
producing STL files from Catia 4.21 without any problems

Sag value 0.02mm
Maximum triangle size 20mm.

I hope this is of some help to you.

All the best,

Subject: Off topic: CATIA workaround

Dear list,
A question for those CATIA users out there: I seem to get this error message
rather often when converting a .model file to stl format:
" Problem to build discretization"
Any workaround this?
Another thing...what's the best parameter settings for Maximum size of
triangles and Maximum sag?
Thanks for your help in advance.

cheers,
raymond tan
