     Some plastics that are listed in an old "Modern Plastics, Encyclopedia
     Issue" with Specific Gravity less than 1.0:
     Polypropylene 0.9 - 0.91
     Polybutadiene 0.97
     Polybutylene 0.91 - 0.925
     
     If other resins were were modified, say with entrapped air, (foamed or
     glass spheres,) that would help them float.

Folks
has any one ever heard of a liquid material that hardens with an electrial
current or a plastic material that will float in water.
