Steve,
If you have not been to one of these meetings you will find it hard to
believe how useful they are - especially the Meeting in the USA. There are
lots of presentations from people showing different applications and you get
the opportunity to discuss issues with other users and machine and material
suppliers. You also get the opportunity to say what new features you want in
terms of machine, software or material.
Apart from these benefits the US meeting is really well organised and a
great time.
If you cannot make it you have my sympathy!

Conference, and what are the benefits of attending? I read the 3D Systems
marketing blurb, but I would like to hear from some others who have
attended.
P.S., as long as y'all are in town, I'd like to invite conference attendees
to tour our studio in Burbank, about 10 minutes from the conference. This
is
not a sales blurb, as I really don't need any new work, I just want to meet
like-minded colleagues. We have the latest array of 3D scanning equipment
which we use in conjunction with 5 3D Systems platforms to make toy
prototypes.
