I have a customer who requires some gears be rapid prototyped. They are about 10 inch diameter, spiral bevel gears of a unique design. We already 3-D printed them and investment cast them, but the overall quality wasn't great. He was wondering about 3-D milling of the gears instead. Does anyone out there do this and if so, who are you. Thanks in advance for the responses.
