On a related note, you may wish to evaluate our Swiftool (TM) process as a quicker alternative to the vacuum casting element of your proposed facility. We are happy to work with master patterns from practically any RP system, and offer a compact, entry-level system which is ideal for academic environments.
That way your students can make injection moulding tools the same day as the RP master is ready.

A general question from a keen beginner...
We want to set up vacuum casting in an educational environment in conjunction with a planned RP machine purchase. We haven't the funds to buy/run SLA but wondering about using MJM Thermojet or maybe Z-402. (Both have limitations, undersurface supports in MJM, and lack of detail in Z). Is anyone doing this with these machines? (It seems SLA dominates this area.)
