However, this brings up another subject. At my company, we are constantly
asked for information about Rapid Prototyping. Most of the time it is from
individuals that are new to the technology and have a large learning curve.
Could we not refer these people to a source at the SME or some other
organization that would provide the basic information that these individuals
need?

Dear Sir:

There are numerous places on the web and elsewhere with basic info about RP.

There are basic tutorials on several sites, including Ennex's and ours:

Worldwide Guide to Rapid
Prototyping Resources

You can find Ennex's site on our RP information sources page under
Consultants.
Our tutorial is located under the RP Patents Category. Follow the link from
there to Technology.

Our web site also links to virtually every other site and organization in the
RP world, including the SME and basic engineering info sites. If we missed
anyone, please let us know!

I think that any individual that spent an hour purusing the RP sites and info
in our directory, would have a very good idea at the end of that hour what is
available from the technology, who the players are, and where to go to get
answers to specific questions.

Best regards,
