As was discussed earlier, the key to more and higher level RP use is in
usability and shallow learning curve of CAD software to do the design.
AutoCAD may be capable of outputting good STL files, but it sure seems that
a lot of people do not know the "magic" method to achieve this.
There are as many ways to build a solid model as there are designers... if
the program requires the model to be built one specific way to create a
viable model, but allows you to build bad models by other seemingly valid
ways, then there is a problem with the program.
