PowerMill from Delcam can accept stl input.
Haven't heard much about it
from users yet but you might check it out at:

Both software packages are aimed at a different application area:
for Powermill the emphasis is on complete functionality (it is
targeted
at mouldmaking professionals), for DeskProto the emphasis is on
ease-of-use (targeted at designers for Rapid Prototyping).
As a result a larger price-difference is present too: a factor 10 to
15.
