It's been a while since I've messed with this but you might take a look at
Imageware's Surfacer product at:
http://www.sdrc.com/nav/software-services/imageware/isurface.html
It's pricey, probably more so since SDRC bought them, but it's powerful and
it should give you good IGES and STL output.
