For anyone's information: IronCad cad read in an stl, create a solid from it, and
allow for modifications. It's is similar to importing an IGES, in that it has no
intelligence (model history) associated with it. (This would be assuming that there
is no feature based recognition program reading in the IGES.) In some cases it
works great, in others not so great.
