Don't know if this helps, but we sometimes spray our actua/thermojet models
with a product called "Plasti-Dip". Sold in most hardware stores, intended
to be used make handles on pliers and otherwise coat small tools etc. Comes
in dip or spray, various basic colors and clear. We find it helps keep MJM
models from breaking during normal handling and occasional dropping.
