Sanders protobuild

A slightly strange request. I am looking for solvents for the
protobuild wax (green) in the Sanders machine. It has been
suggested to use water in an ultrasonic bath, this works but is
incredibly slow. Has anyone had any experience in doing this
and could give any suggestions for good solvents?

I will probably need a range of solvents in the end as the wax
is in contact with a number of different materials, some of
which react with some organic solvents.

       Many Thanks in advance
