HI:

" A slightly strange request. I am looking for solvents for the
protobuild wax (green) in the Sanders machine. It has been
suggested to use water in an ultrasonic bath, this works but is
incredibly slow. Has anyone had any experience in doing this
and could give any suggestions for good solvents?
"

We try to use the ultrasonic with water, with solvents, at low temperature
and at higth temperature, if you want to decrees the time increese the
temperature of the ultrasonic water we had take out some parts in "seconds"
BUT the finish surface is bad, you are going to find some holes in it. I
think the ultrasonic is to much strong for the internal structure.

I don't konw what are your parts for but ours are for jewelery and we need
good surfaces so we prefer the VSO solvent, some presure air and long time
with low temps.

If you need another solvent ask to your company quimic man or some one in
your... I'm loosing my english, people around you. It's becouse in every
country you can find some diferent solvents or the same with diferent names.
These VSO is very common but much of the equivalent ones are not legal in
some countryes.

        Rgds.
