Steve - List,
Copyrights are issued to protect original content, artistic or otherwise.
The mere fact that you have re-created someone else's original content is a
violation of copyright law.

You don't have to watermark the STL file or the JPG. Date of first use will
determine whether or not as well as who owns a copywritten entity.

The issue we all need to be aware of in the RP, reverse engineering world is
that unless the entity is in the public domain, you should be VERY careful
about re-creating it and distributing that re-creation.

Again, BE CAREFUL.

Best,
Paul

Thank you Paul...... I was thinking the same thing. Is there a method to
"watermark" or "copyright" an STL file......?

Why not incorporate a disclosure statement on opening "watermarked" STL
files advising copyrights.....?
