There is a good thermoforming case study by Kevin Hooker, Bell Helicopter,
in the RPA Rapid Prototyping newsletter (First Quarter 2001, Vol.7, No.1) if
you are not an RPA/SME member.
At Kodak, I used SLA masters to thermoform plastic parts starting back in
1990-1991. In a related area, we also made SLA reheat-blow molds back then
to blow plastic film containers from injection molded parisons.
