Jim,

We've got 6200+ hours on our current HeCd laser. It is a Kimmon supplied by
Dennis Fogle. The down side to the long hours is the power level. We're
down to 20mw at the vat.

  Hi Everyone,

There has been some discussion in the past about poor reliability of the
He Cd lasers. Has that changed? What is the typical life? I heard it was
around 4000 hours not the 7000 to 8000 hours we used to get?

  Thanks,
  Jim
