Dear Erkut,

The principle is developed by Prof. Murakami and Dr.Kamimura in the Univ.of
Tokyo.
They reported the detail at SSF Symposium about 3 years ago.

This is special resin, it named Zol-Gel Reaction by them.
This resin is almost solid under room temp, but in high temp. it melt.
At recoarting high temp and curing is done under lower temperature.
So uncurled resin was work as solid surport.
After building the part, all the part is heat up and slip out of uncured resin.

Best regards,

Imamura

Ps. In Japan the other new resin type machine were appeared in the market.
such as multi beam scan type high speed machine( 2 type)
and Area exposure type (not scanning: 2type)

And a part of 3-D patent problem is solved in Japan also.

If you are interesting or request the information, I will show you the later.
Because my English ability is too low.

Dear List,

Are there anyone, who knows the working principle of Solidjet, a new product
from Denken Eng. Co./ Japan?
Although previous fabbers of Denken use SL principle, it seems that (as the name
implies) this one use a technology similar to ThermoJet or Objet?
Web site for the Solidjet is:
http://www.denken-eng.co.jp/denkentop/new/new.html

Regards

Erkut Negis
