been greatly expanded, reorganized and updated:
*** The RP Reader's Digest.
Read brief summaries of recent articles about rapid prototyping or closely
related technologies drawn from the trade and popular press. Jump to the
entire story if you want to read more. The 70+ categorized articles listed
from dozens of sources have been selected because they're freely available,
and provide a wide breadth and depth of knowledge on all facets of the
technology and its applications. Some of this material may be impossible to
locate using web search engines since it may be too far down in the structure
of a site to get indexed, or simply too new.
*** Medical Applications of Rapid Prototyping.
RP is moving inexorably into nearly every medical technology. This section
has been greatly expanded and now includes brief summaries and links to more
than 70 recent articles, deep web sites and directories. Material is
included for every topic in the use of RP in medicine and these pages are
your starting point for finding out much more.
*** Key Web Resources for Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and CAD.
It's not easy to find your way through the mess that is the web, even with
the best search engines. We've reviewed what's out there and here are the
nifty 50+ categorized, described and ranked web sites that will let you find
all the rest. This resource provides a far more efficient way to begin a
wide search for an engineering topic than a search engine.
