Good Morning:

Several sections of the Worldwide Guide to Rapid Prototyping web site have
just been updated:

*** Mom, the Mother of All Rapid Prototyping Bibliographies.
Hundreds of citations have been added for 2001 and prior years bringing the
total to just under 4,000 articles. You can research academic, business and
trade publication covering every facet of the technology. Most citations
include abstracts.

This update also includes abstracts from the 2001 SOLID FREEFORM FABRICATION
PROCEEDINGS, arguably the most important annual technical conference in the
field. The 2001 installment is very impressive, both for its detailed
analysis of technologies and for the scope of the applications discussed.
Even if you don't have a particular need to research a topic, you may enjoy
browsing the annual Tables of Contents on our site. More than 700 papers
comprise the SFF Proceedings from 1990 to 2001. It's a good way to get an
idea of what's going on, and you'll almost certainly see something to arouse
your curiosity.

THANKS VERY MUCH to Dr. David Bourell and Rosalie Foster of the University of
Texas for providing the material !

*** The Rapid Prototyping US Patent Database.
The main database now includes the last 6 months of material and is current
through 12/11/01. Search the entire database of nearly 920 patents and
published applications which are linked to full text and drawings.

*** The Compleat Rapid Prototyping Mailing List Archive.
Every posting for the last 6+ years through last Friday, 1/4/02 is now
available for downloading. There are almost a stupefying 18,000 pages of
material which can serve as a source of technical and marketing information,
contacts, etc.
