Thanks, Nick (and Brad, Harold and Elaine). I was checking the pulse to
see how far RP has progressed toward being a rapid manufacturing tool for
mass customization. Not many high-tech products are comprised of a single
part made of a single material. This string and the one about single source
of materials should serve as a reminder of the limitations/opportunities
for creativity. How about the artists out there? Any experiements in
multi-RP trysts? Even ones gone awry? Pictures might be fun. In the early days
of RP, I think it was Vern Schmidt that used to regale conference
attendees with, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
