articles about FEA results into coloured 3DP ?

Dear All,

I was wondering if anyone could refer me to publications on the
usefulness of the visualization of
3D stress distribution patterns obtained from FEA by means of a
multi-coloured ZCorp 3DP model ?
I believe that these coloured FEA-result models can be of great benefit
to anyone involved in the early
stages of product design and CAE. We performed some FEA studies of the
stress distribution in a trochanteric
gamma nail for a trochanteric fracture (proximal femur). We used the
VRML format to transfer FEA results into the ZCorp software.
Multi-coloured 3DP models were made from the average von Mises stress
distribution patterns of both the TGN
implant and the proximal femur model using Z-Corp’s Z406 3DP machine.
The new technique of multi-coloured visualization allows for a fully 3D
visual interpretation of the stress distributions resulting from FE
calculations.

Could you please let me know if you have any references to articles
about this ?
