My wife works in the travel/meeting industry The hotel argument when this
type of thing happens is that
they are not overbooked they are "under-departed"
Seriously, perhaps they did get another convention in or, somebody just
screwed up. Hotel stories are great! Or maybe it is just fun to laugh at
somebody else's problem.
Maybe the skyways are finished by now and you will get to get lost from a
different direction in Cinicatti this year! Have fun..

One of our customers got dumped too, even though she booked the room several
weeks back. The Hyatt helped her get in the Millennium instead. The Hyatt
must've gotten some higher paying customers and decided not to honor their
deals. Not a good reflection on them, eh!
