DIGIBOTICS III LASER DIGITIZING
SYTEM SPECIFICATIONS

Hardware Specifications:
1) 36" diameter x 60" height work volume, 2000lb (table capacity)
static axial load, 296 ft-lbs Max static overhung load
2) The hardware configuration includes the 4-axis control board that is
installed in the system PC and all cables. NOTE: This does NOT include the
system control PC. (The PC configuration is listed below)
3) Granite and air bearing scanning system
4) Bottom granite base weight is ~1/2 ton (.450 ton)
5) Vertical column weight is ~ 700 lb
Software Specifications: The Software includes the adaptive scanning
system, the systematic scanning system, the Digibot Data Editor, the Digibot
Object Triangulator and the Digibot Data Translators which include; DXF
polyline, and polyface mesh, IGES106, STL, IBL, OBJ, VDA, DBT, XYZ, and
Imageware Surfacer data translators.
System Control PC - Not Included
To control the Digibot III, the following minimal configuration
requirements must be met: An IBM compatible 486DX/66 or higher with Minimum
16MB memory, 200 MB hard disk, 3 button mouse, and color VGA monitor. This
is also the desired minimum configuration for the Editing software.
NOTE: We have found that you cannot operate this system using
higher than Windows 98 OS, please contact Steve Koch, founder/developer at
1-972-417-1100 for further information.
Runs on standard 110 electrical service
Air compressor - 80 - 90 PSI, air compressor runs when scanning is being
done. (NOT INCLUDED)
Overall footprint of assembled Digibot III - 5' wide by 7' deep
