If you have SolidWorks, you can try using STL Import for SolidWorks
(http://www.fpsols.com/stl_import_sw.html). Many of our customers have used
this method to get MRI/CT scan data of human organs into SolidWorks and then
modify/study the models.

hello everybody
am writing this letter so that somebody can help me out.
i am a produt designer and now working in the field if biomedical applications mainly in the maxillofacial area.
i want to know how can i translate MRI/CT scan data(3D) into CAD format so that i can go for designing after the cad data of the human bones ate available. also if i can go for RP of the MRI/CT scan data? what surface modeller can take care of these type of problems?
