Rapid Manufacturing Consortium Manager
£21,125 to £33,679 per annum
The Rapid Manufacturing Consortium plays a central role in technology
transfer, research and teaching within the Wolfson School. The Consortium
includes a number of member OEMs and runs rapid prototyping equipment with a
value in excess of £1million.
The key tasks of this challenging job will be to maintain the running of the
Consortium, in terms of facilities and projects with member companies, along
with the University’s academic, technical and research staff. Additionally
the role will involve promoting the Consortium and its activities to an
international audience and seeking new members from industry.
We are looking for someone educated to degree level or equivalent in a
technical subject with at least 3 years’ experience in Rapid
Prototyping/Tooling/Manufacture. In addition, you will possess excellent
leadership, management and interpersonal skills. Experience in a similar
role would be a distinct advantage.
The appointment will be for a fixed term of three years in the first
instance.
