And that's it for another episode of Crossfire! (0: Truth is as consumers
we all buy a variety of items ranging from high-end to low-end to suit our
particular needs. It's all about value...bang for the buck...the most for
the least...etc., etc., etc. As immature as the RP industry may appear to
be, or may actually be, there are still a lot of processes and lots of
vendors to meet a wide variety of needs for models, patterns, functional
prototypes and rapid production. In due time I expect prices will drop as
process and material developments continue.

Unfortunately non-verbal communication is lost in a note-writing venue, such
as the RP-ML, so things can get misconstrued sometimes. Mike Billett meant
no harm with his comments and we certainly don't want a misunderstanding to
take on a life of its own. This kind of discussion is healthy for all of us
and keeps our finger on the pulse of the marketplace. Lot's of opinions,
lots of perspectives, lots of ideas...that's what keeps this thing
interesting.

If this was the Oprah show we'd all be misty-eyed and hugging at this point.
