 Bruce,

UL Standard 94 describes the methods of testing the materials for fire
retardancy. V refers to vertical tests and H refers to Horizontal tests.
The vertical tests are V0, V1, V2 and each specifies the amount of time that
a sample put in flame in an upright (vertical)position extinguishes itself.
V0 is the most stringent requirement.

For the detail specification you must obtain a copy of the standards from
Underwriters Laboratories, www.ul.com
