DSM Somos is part of DSM Desotech, a leading innovative formulator and
manufacturer of high quality ultraviolet and electron beam (UV/EB) curable
materials. DSM Somos has developed a full line of ProtoFunctional
materials that replicate production materials' performance parameters.
>From thermoplastic elastomers to polyethylene, DSM Somos has ProtoFunctional
solutions for stereo lithography (SL) and selective laser sintering (SLS)
technologies.
We currently have the following positions available:
Technical Service Specialist
1) Responsible for customer support of Somos SL Resins stereo lithography
processing expertise. Interact with customers via telephone and in
personal visits. Optimize and characterize the use of Somos resins in
commercial SL Equipment. Conduct internal testing of new products and
participate in new product commercial introductions.
Must have a technical degree or equivalent mix of CAD/RP training and
experience. Must have at least 3 years of hands on stereo lithography
experience. Travel is required 40-50%. Excellent communication skills
and customer support experience a plus. Must be willing to relocate to the
New Castle, Delaware area.
2) Similar to above, but based in Europe for support of European business
specifically. 75% travel. German and English language skills preferred.
