John,

You may want to take a look at www.inspeck.com <http://www.inspeck.com>

They have a large line of digitizers that are safe, portable and fast.

Subject: Scanning a horse

Dear RP list,

I wanted to start a service scanning horses for people and printing the
model on an RP machine. So I need a unique model, and I have to make sure
that it is safe (ex laser hitting an eye). I need to make sure that it is
fast enough to catch the horse before he moves.
Has anyone used a method where I could use 3 or more cameras and take a
picture simultaneously of different angles and tie the reliefs together to
get a 3d Image?
I am open to suggestions.

Thanks,
John Mastoloni
