A nitrogen generator works fine for the majority of materials. If you need
to inert your machine to less than 1% oxygen, then you start running into
problems. You will need to add a large tank to pump your nitrogen into for
capacitance to cover the initial "purge" inerting phase. Where we are
located, it is actually cheaper and more effecient to use bulk nitrogen, but
different locations require different measures.

Subject: Nitrogen flow rate in SLSs machines
Hy everybody
We are runing two SLS machines a 2000 and a 2500Plus. Actually we are
inerting them with liquid Nitrogen and we are thinking to change to a
NItrogen generator and we are having doubts about power, Flow, Compressor
needed ,how does it work etc.
Has anyone done this?
I will apreciate any comments.
Thanks in advance.
