Software Sales Engineer (North America)
Materialise is currently the world leader in Rapid Prototyping software with
offices in eight countries worldwide. Our "Magics" software line is used to
view, fix and manipulate STL files for applications in rapid prototyping,
rapid tooling as well as reverse engineering. Materialise's customer base
includes a virtual who's who in the automotive & aerospace industry and many
prominent Universities worldwide. We also have a medical product line to
reverse engineer the human body with CT scans.
We have a great opportunity in our Ann Arbor, MI office for a technical
professional who is ready for a challenge. As a Software Sales Engineer, you
will support the Magics sales in North America in a variety of ways.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Promote Magics software via cold calls, e-mails, trade shows and customer
visits
* Travel to customer sites to make sales calls
* Build customer relationships
* Represent Materialise at Trade Shows (as an exhibitor or an attendee)
* Interact with Materialise internationally
* Give presentations to small and large audiences
Skills and Abilities:
* BS in Business Administration or Engineering preferred
* Sales experience required
* Excellent computer skills required
* Good communication and problem solving skills a must
* Positive attitude
* Rapid Prototyping experience a plus
* CAD/CAM/CAE or FEA experience a plus
