FW: URGENT AND CONFIDENTIAL

I agree.

(Now, again)double postings and not taking care of the basics is not up to
par. There has been a noticeable (and unsettling)lack of communication from
the list manager. I don't have that much of an issue with the spam....I can
hit the delete key and junk email button, though it could be better dealt
with. What is the downside to having this list private (if all you have to
do is subscribe)?
I do not want to sound unappreciative, Hannu. I have used and appreciated
the RP-ML list and archives for years.

Cheest, people. Everyone knows that replying to spam only proves to
the spammer that they have reached a live address. There is no one
reading those mailboxes. Chris, your reply to the spammer has
probably triggered an increase in the amount they'll send.

In other news, Hannu, are you there? I'd still like to know why this
list does not follow the routine practice of excluding non-members
from posting. Hello?

In other other news, I have been receiving many repeat postings in the
last several days. I think the list software is malfunctioning again.

What is going on here? Running a mailing list is not rocket science,
there are many free apps and services that make it perfectly simple.
So why all these problems? The repeat-posting problem has been here
for _years_, what is preventing it from getting fixed?

Thanks,

-Sheba
