My math textbook reads: "There exist only 5 ruled, convex polyhedrals:
Tetraeder, Cube, Octaeder, Dodecaeder, Icosaeder" (Sorry if the
translation isn't perfect)
All other spheric surfaces have differing patches. None of these ruled
surfaces uses hexagons.
