Huntsman Purchases Vantico A&T US
EAST LANSING, Mich., July 2 - Vantico A&T US Inc., is now part of the Huntsman Group of Companies, it was announced today. The purchase includes the RenShape Solutions Tooling and Adhesives Groups of Vantico, which will now be known as Huntsman Advanced Materials, a part of the Huntsman Polyurethanes and Specialties Division.
Huntsman is the world's largest privately held chemicals company. As part of this organization, the RenShape Solutions Tooling Group will be able to optimize its ability to serve customers with innovative products and advanced processes along with the outstanding technical support to support their growth and success.
According to George Sollner, Business Head - Tooling, RenShape Solutions, Huntsman Advanced Materials, "We believe that under the umbrella of our new parent, our global position will be strengthened and we will have the ability and security to meet the needs of the marketplace now and in the future."
RenShape Solutions manufactures and markets stereolithography materials, epoxies and polyurethanes for modeling, moldmaking, prototyping and forming initial parts to the automotive, foundry and general manufacturing industries. The company has been a world leader in plastic tooling materials for more than 60 years.
Huntsman-held companies today have facilities in 44 countries with more than 15,000 employees and revenues of approximately $8 billion.
