John,

Having come out of the flat stock cutting industry, I think that you have
more choices than just lasers. Waterjets work great for materials like
acrylic. I know of a waterjet job shop here in Michigan but none more local
to you. I'm sure they exist. Try this link: http://www.waterjetnetwork.com/.
Also, many of the waterjet shops also have lasers so that the two
technologies complement each other.

Is anyone out there cutting acrylic 1/8" thick. We need a couple of parts
quoted for cutting 500 to 1000 parts to start, then up to 3000 over the next
