2nd International Conference on Advanced Research in Virtual and Rapid
Prototyping(VRAP 2005), Leiria, Portugal
The 2nd International Conference on Advanced Research in Virtual and
Rapid Prototyping (http://www.estg.ipleiria.pt/dem/vrap2005) is going to
be held on 28th September-1st October 2005 at Leiria, Portugal. The
organising committee of the VRAP International Conference is calling for
papers with an abstract deadline of 20 December 2004. Please see the
information below:
The conference will take place at the School of Technology and
Management which is at an important industrial centre and historical
city of Portugal, Leiria, distant around 1 hour from Lisbon. This School
provides education in the sectors of technology and management for more
than 5000 students and is one of the six Schools forming the Institute
Polytechnic of Leiria.VRAP is designed to be a major forum for the
Scientific exchange of multi-disciplinary and inter-organisational
aspects of virtual and physical prototyping and related areas.
On October 2003 the Institute Polytechnic of Leiria hosted the 1 st
International Conference on Advanced Research in Virtual and Rapid
Prototyping. The Conference carried out a full paper submission
refereeing process resulting in just 103 papers.

Call for Papers
Simple page abstracts addressing the conference themes are invited from
all interested participants and can be submitted by email to
pbartolo@estg.ipleiria.pt or by mail to the Conference Chair.
Abstracts should be no more than 500 words in length and should
summarise the intended content of the paper and the substantive issues
it will rise.
All abstracts and full papers will be rigorously refeered. All papers
will be included in conference proceedings published on an ISBN numbered
book, published by A.A. Balkema an imprint of Taylor&Francis Group and
made available to delegates attending the conference.
