There are several things that you can do. The first of which is to build at
the greatest density you can while maintaining feature detail and part
accuracy. The second would be a secondary process using some type of
coating. The coatings that have been used are acrylics, epoxies, urethanes,
and cyanoacrylates. It all depends on which flavor you like. The more
viscous the coating, the more you will "candy-shell" the part and lose
tolerance and accuracy. So, I'd suggest a very watery secondary material.
If you have internal features, I'd suggest you get a secondary material
system that will allow you enough pot life to dip the part.

Many of your local materials people (like 3M and such) have solutions (no
pun intended:) ) for your application. Contact one of those guys, they like
to sell stuff.

  Hi All:

Does anyone know how to water proof SLS Nylon/ GF Nylon parts completely
and yet retain its strength?

  Thanks in advance.

  Kind Regards,
