Hello list,
I have a question in relation to this new 3D printer from 3D Systems.
This machine is exactly the same as the XD700 currently offered by Graphtec
is it not?

Have Graphtec lost the rights to sell this machine?

InVision LD, the CEO of Solidimension mentions the SD 300 ("'We are
delighted to be working with 3D Systems as one of our marketing arms for our
SD 300 desk top 3-D printer,' said Yair Aloni, Solidimension's CEO").
Since it appears that the InVision LD is an OEM re-branded Solidimension SD
300, one would imagine the specifications would be at least very similar.
Solidimension has specs up on their site
(http://www.solidimension.com/products_ds.htm) which may address your
questions.
In short:
Technology: 3D printing - plastic sheet lamination
Build material: PVC
Material color: Amber (transparent)
Accuracy: +/- 0.2 mm (XY)
Layer thickness: 0.165 mm (Z)
