Time for Spring cleaning! We've just updated several major sections of the
Worldwide Guide to Rapid Prototyping web-site.
*** 3D Printers.
Just what is the difference between a 3D printer and a rapid prototyping
machine? You can find out in this new brief tutorial.
*** RP Industry Overview.
Rapid prototyping is a constantly changing industry. We've just updated this
section and our RAPID TOOLING SURVEY to reflect the many changes that have
occurred in the last few months. The extensive tabular information in the survey
section has also been updated.
*** RP Digest.
A compendium of recent articles drawn from the trade and popular press
available on the Internet concerning rapid prototyping and closely related
technologies. Just updated and expanded, it has links to 150 full-text articles from
dozens of sources. The articles have been selected to provide wide knowledge
on all facets of RP and the links include brief summaries.
*** The Compleat Rapid Prototyping Mailing List Archive.
You can have every posting to the Rapid Prototyping Mailing List for very
nearly the last decade available for searching on your own hard drive. Updated
through 5/25/05, there are now 23,721 pages available for downloading in several
zip files. The material can be used as a source of advice, case studies,
contact information, expert individuals and market data.
