re:Where are the Universities?

Folks

I have responsibility for a few labs on my campus.
One has a DTM2500+ RP-machine (sic 'fabber', re: barf).
Another has a LEO/ZEISS 1550SFEG-SEM, that is
a hi-end scanning electron microscope.

The RP machine is rarely used.
The SEM is used all of the time.
Both have the same "wow" factor.

The deciding factor is often cost.
Also, the SEM appeals to a wide selection
of users in many departments. The RP
machine has a more narrow set of "potential"
users.

regards,

JQuinn
