VELUX, the world leader in Roof Windows, Skylights and Sun Tunnels, is
currently seeking an individual to work in its Greenwood, South Carolina
Product Development Model Shop.

The primary responsibilities of this employment opportunity include
supporting the development team by producing form study models and fully
functional prototypes. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Model
Making/Industrial Design or have equivalent work experience in a product
development model shop. Understanding that this is a diverse learning
opportunity, we require this individual to be a self-starter capable of
balancing multiple projects and to demonstrate the ability to focus on
details. This candidate should be familiar with a broad range of
technologies including woodworking, machining, sheet metal fabrication,
vacuum-forming, and CNC mill and wire machines. Candidate must be able to
interpret drawings/specifications and have a working knowledge of 3D model
generation and CAM packages. Secondary responsibilities include general
shop maintenance and inventory control/purchasing.

Qualified candidates must also be able to lift and carry weights in excess
of 75 lbs.
