The paste we use was a mixture of PVA dissolved in water and an
alcohol, and a very fine marble powder. It sticks to both itself and
to the polymer we use (polycaprolactone). The polymer bond was weaker,
but that's quite useful in a support material.
I am thinking of going to pure (well, mixed with glycerine plasticiser)
PVA fed through our ordinary polymer extruder, though.
