We have picked up information that a US based developer is working on an inexpensive, but fast, RP system that will use MEMJET technology as the basis for a 3D printer that can make patterns for jewelry, dental, and other small part applications. The information is sketchy at this point in time, but the build platform in the smallest size would be 6 inches by 6 inches. Resolution is 0.001 inches.Code word for the project is ESPBase upon what is patented and public on the MEMJET, the speed could go as high as 30 to 60 layers per minute.JackPSBased upon the printers being developed using the MEMJET, one should expect a 12 inch by 12 inch RP system to be in the pipeline.
