The standard comparison criteria are two: (1) how fast can a new product be
satisfactorily developed and delivered to a customer, and (2) how much money
is needed to develop and deliver that product.

Everything else is detail.

Dear All
A critical question which warrant attention is that the growth of RP is
still limited in developing countries and also in developed countries at the
level of small to medium enterpenuers, the one reason which can be found
after a very limited research is that people are not aware about that what
new technology can do for them, and if some one move further then obstacle
comes that how to diffrenciate between the old technology and the new ones
and what is the base of such comparison? any standard criteria which can
assist them, is still missing in our opinion which can be considered as a
great obstacle in the growth of such a landmark revolution in manufacturing,
comments from the RP community are requested
