If you did not register for the 2008 3DS Users
Group in April, Please read this.
The annual 3DS Users Group is fast approaching
(less than five weeks away). This year's event
is shaping up to be the best conference to
date. The final agenda is available on the
website
( www.3dsug.org ). We have
three and a half days of solid programming with
general sessions, and concurrent breakout
sessions.
The Executive Board has reviewed the conference
surveys from the past few years and has
incorporated changes requested by the
Attendees. This year's conference will include
sessions on SLA and SLS Processes, Trouble
Shooting and Repairing STL files, Mold Making
and Urethane Casting, Metal Casting, Plating, 3D
Printing, Safety, Finishing, and Materials to name just a few.

You definitely do not want to miss the
2008 3DS Users Group Conference. The Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa
is a great facility. Their
conference facilities are very well suited for
our group and very conducive to learning. The
other hotel amenities offer great opportunities
for networking. Don't forget, the pool is
heated to 85+ degrees and opened 24 hours). The menus have
been selected and as always, there will be great food!
The Annual Awards Banquet is also set
and should prove to be another great
program. This not only is a great way to cheer
your peers who have entered into the Technical
Awards Competition, but it is also a great time to network with other
Users.

The Vendor Fair will be held Sunday and Monday
evenings with the technical competition
occurring on Monday night. Vendor Demo Rooms
will also be open on these nights to help
promote better dialogue between the Users and
the Vendors. The Vendor fair is always a
favorite part of the conference and gives Users
plenty of time to investigate new products in a
casual atmosphere that is perfect for networking.
All attendees at this year's conference
will receive a complementary gift as well
as a t-shirt with all the Sponsor logos on the back.
Time is running out. However, it is never too
late to register. Feel free to register at the
door if you wish. We always have room for you!

As a reminder, you still have an
opportunity to get the $125.00 per night room
rate at the hotel if you register quickly. Do
not forget to mention the User Group to insure
this rate.
I hope to see you in Orange County/Costa Mesa, California
Sincerely,
