You might look into space puzzle molding. It sounds like this file would be
a good application for this. A quick google search came up with this page

Is there such a thing as "automated parting software"?

I'm wondering if it is possible to have a rp mold fabricated - of a
relatively faceted file with multiple angles of relief - that I could
then use for pouring wax for investment casting. The idea being that I
could wire it together and the software would assist/control the
geometry of these individual parts.
