FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - TCT Live 2011 – Call For Papers

Rapid News Communications Group is delighted to announce a significant development for TCT Live in 2011. Having reached capacity at the previous venue TCT Live will relocate to the NEC, Birmingham enabling continued growth and the ability to offer an enhanced visitor and exhibitor experience. The need to do this comes at an exciting time, as 2011 will see Rapid News also take the reins of Interplas for the first time. The co-location of TCT Live and Interplas along with MM Live UK, MEMS Live, NANO Live, the PPMA Show and Sensing Technology will contribute to the largest gathering of engineering and manufacturing technology in the UK in 2011 with a projected attendance of over 10,000 visitors.

In order to maintain the world class nature of this event Rapid News Communications Group is now calling for outstanding abstract submissions for the following sessions.

TCT Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing Conference
The TCT conference, now approaching its 16th edition, is characterised by high quality presentations from leading users of the technologies and industry commentators. For 2011 the conference will continue to explore the impact and applications of both AM and 3DP. Presentations should address the design issues, the business benefits in terms of time-to-market, financial objectives, material issues and/or part performance.

All submissions must be non-promotional in content and presented by companies that are utilising and/or researching the technologies for an industrial application. NOTE: No vendor papers will be accepted from companies that sell machines, materials or associated services for this section of the programme.

Additive Manufacturing Tech Briefings
Open to all major AM and 3DP machine manufacturers. Vendors are invited to unveil their latest and future developments in short, sharp fifteen-minute presentations, giving the buyer an instant snapshot of what is hot and imminent from each of the major players.

In addition papers are also being sought for the following sessions, there are no restrictions on vendor participation in these sessions, but all abstracts must demonstrate an educational nature. Sales presentations will not be accepted.

Software in Product Development & Manufacturing
Product Development & Manufacturing Technology for the Dental Industry
Product Development & Manufacturing Technology for the Jewellery Industry
Inspection/Metrology in Product Development & Manufacturing

Interested parties are initially requested to submit an abstract of 250 words of their proposed paper on or before February 11th 2011. This should include the working title, all authors/contributors and their affiliations. All submissions will be reviewed to ensure that they meet the necessary and exacting requirements of TCT.

TCT Live will be held at the NEC, Birmingham, 27–29 September 2011, and anyone submitting a presentation must be available to present on any of these three days.
