[rp-ml] Fwd: 3D printing community survey results

Members of the rp-ml mailing list may find the survey below interesting.

The recruitment technique (as you will see) would definitely bias it
towards the hacker 3D-printing community, and away from traditional
industrial users, and this is openly acknowledged in the preamble to
the written article.

Best wishes

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

I just created a short video on the survey results about the
growing 3D printing community and thought you might find it interesting.

http://stephenmurphey.com/survey-on-the-3d-printer-community/

I think you'll be happy to know that RepRap printers were the most
commonly used :-)

It's only a minute and a half but it covers some of the interesting
stats that "The Journal of Peer Production" uncovered a few weeks ago
in their global survey of 3D printer users.

I hope you like it.

Cheers!

Stephen
